Exploring Identity Through Art

Artistic Journey of Nudisorder

I grew up in a first-generation Mexican family that came to the U.S. in search of a better life. My parents did their best with what they had, and while there were struggles, we’ve grown—learning to process our traumas and embrace our identities.

As a child, I spent much of my time outdoors, forming deep connections with nature. I found and cared for injured animals—snakes, moles, hares, and bugs—observing them in their purest forms. My imagination was boundless, creating worlds where gravity was optional, where homes could be explored upside down, and where I could shrink to a microscopic level to rediscover familiar places.

Art has always been part of me. In school, I filled notebook margins with tiny characters and patterns that caught my eye. As I grew, I honed my skills by sketching favorite characters and experimenting with different techniques. Though I took art classes here and there, I always followed my own path, letting curiosity lead the way.

I’ve never settled on a single medium—each one has its own magic. From developing film to painting on unconventional surfaces, from getting lost in micro-art with a 0.05mm pen to sculpting creatures from clay, I explore art in all its forms. My work is a reflection of this journey—a blend of experimentation, imagination, and an ever-evolving connection to the world around me.
